I have been asked many times “What sets you apart from all the other real estate agents out there?”
I wish there was an easier way to explain why someone should choose me to be their real estate agent…to put it bluntly – It is because you would be hitting the jackpot with me... I really believe that. I have been in the real estate business for 4 years, first as an assistant, and then out on my own as a realtor. I love my job, in fact I am downright passionate about it. I have the knowledge, I have the drive and I genuinely want the best for my clients. I like to keep my active client list smaller, because guess what, you are important! It means a lot to me to be able to respond quickly to questions, set up showings on short notice and be as efficient as possible. I am striving to make this career successful, on my own terms, the way I want to do it…and so far I am doing it. Achieving Master Sales in my first year was quite an accomplishment! You may be wowed by the big name agents out there wheeling and dealing, and don’t get me wrong, they work hard, really hard and most of them are fantastic people and you would be in good hands with them…but I like to think I offer a bit more of a personal touch. Unlike some of the big name agents out there, I don’t have an assistant, I handle everything personally from start to finish. I could say it a million times – I care, I really do.
This year started out quite busy for me, which I really wasn’t expecting – January and February is not typically a busy time for a real estate agent, so I was very thankful to hit the ground running! Then – it stopped. Don’t get me wrong, I still have quite a few prospects and things on the go, but I was hoping that March would bring an abundance of people anxious to buy a home just in time to plant flowers…. maybe it was the weather…winter just does not seem to be ending! There are agents out there that are busy, agents that have been in the business for years. These agents have the benefit of many past clients referring others to them, or doing repeat business with them. Newer agents, like me, simply don’t have that – it takes years to develop that kind of contact list. So what do I do? I talk to people, try to get my name out there, socialize, spend time with friends and family, work on my social media, spend countless hours scouring online for properties that will meet the needs of the clients I do have, advertise – all in hopes that something will click.
I will work my heart out for you - because you deserve it.
